How to Get Your Site Ready for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

  (by )

With the Queen’s Jubilee fast approaching, it’s time to add some festive touches to your website!  Lots of retailers have decorate their sites in preparation for the big event, and I’ve chosen some of my favourite designs to help inspire you.

These designs feature bunting, Union Jacks, crowns, and British landmarks, and I’ve found some great elements you can use to create a similar look for your website.

On Waitrose’s Jubilee page, they’ve decorated their featured image with colourful bunting in a hand drawn style to create a fun and patriotic look.

If you want to get this look on your website, then you can use this set of bunting brushes and read-made objects to make your own bunting to hang on your homepage.

Sainsbury’s uses a crown, as well as a Union Jack, to create a festive featured image for their Jubilee page.

If you want to add some regal touches to your site, then try this set of golden crowns, this set of 9 crowns in a range of different colours, or these simple black crowns.

On Asos’ men’s page, they’ve used a distressed Union Jack to create a cool, modern, and fun featured image, and they’ve even added a festive crown to a red, white, and blue version of their logo.

If you want to get this look on your own site, then try this grungy British flag or this paint splattered Union Jack, and top off your logo with one of these golden crowns.
