We have an immediate need for a Support Engineer based in our office, this is for a week day shift which is usually 9am - 5:30pm, but will include some on-call work.

We are looking for a responsible, knowledgeable, and driven full-time Linux Technician to provide support to our web hosting customers via our email ticket system (no phone support), configure servers, perform regular server maintenance, and identify and resolve large scale technical issues.

This role requires:

- Extensive knowledge of Linux and its application in a web hosting environment
- Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to work successfully with customers, staff members and management
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with management and other staff members
- The drive and determination to independently identify and resolve technical and non-technical issues
- Willingness to handle some on call shifts
- An excellent attitude and the sincere desire to help customers

While not required, experience with open source applications, CSS and HTML is preferred.  A degree or certification is not a requirement, but experience with Linux and customer service is an absolute must.

Experience with the following is a bonus: cPanel, MySQL, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Kayako, WHMCS, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, Magento.
