Holiday Themes & Plugins for WordPress

The holidays are coming soon, so it’s time to get your WordPress blog or website ready with some holiday and winter themes and plugins!  One of these plugins will create a snowstorm on your site, while the other will help you send holiday wishes to your site’s visitors, as well as invite them to subscribe to your RSS feed.  I’ve also found some free themes that are sure to add a little holiday cheer to your website!

Let It Snow!

This simple and free WordPress plugin adds falling snow to your blog, making Let It Snow the perfect way to get your website ready for winter!  However, you can’t automate when the snow starts or stops falling, so make sure you deactivate this plugin before spring comes!

WordPress Holidays

This plugin will display a random holiday image, as well as a customisable message (i.e., Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, etc.) and an invitation to subscribe to your WordPress blog or website’s RSS feed.  It’s free, easy to install and configure, and a great way to wish your readers happy holidays AND get them to subscribe to your feed.
