Magento offers almost everything we need at no cost, and of the features it doesn't have yet, many are being developed by the community already. Open source solutions are the way of the future and I wish more big companies would realize that! I love Magento. It works just fine on a larger shared hosting package like our ecommerce plan. Honestly, I think a lot of web hosting companies have mislead people into believing that they MUST have a dedicated server if they're using Magento, but that just hasn't been true in our experience.
