For those who want to add extra security to their Joomla! installation, the jSecure extension is a must.
It prevents ill-doers using brute-force methods to gain access to your admin console.
Install as above and then configure to your own keyword.
For added security, use a mixture of numbers and upper & lower case letters in your keyword.
