We’re planning on launching a redesign of Evo’s site by early 2010, so we’ve been looking at a bunch of ecommerce sites for ideas and inspiration. During the course of our research, we have found some amazing sites for online businesses that I wanted to share with the readers of our blog who have ecommerce web sites of their own.
Nearly every design trend is present, from minimalist and vintage to wood and grunge, so you’re sure to find something you like. Plus, a lot of these ecommerce sites contain dynamic elements that can’t be captured in a screenshot, so you will need to click the images to fully appreciate these designs!
So, what do you think? Do you have a favourite site? Creatively, I like UNIQLO‘s site a lot, but I find the navigation kind of tedious as a customer. I like the simple design of Ser-vice‘s site, and I love the way they showcase their customer’s photos via the Flickr feed on their homepage. Also, I think the the dripping t-shirt effect used by Dripping in Fat is a creative way of getting users to associate an image with a company’s name, making it unlikely that visitors will forget the URL of the website.
Are you looking for ecommerce web hosting? Then check out our ecommerce web hosting plans? We offer ecommerce web hosting for as little as £15.00 a month!

These are some pretty intense ecommerce design. It just goes to show you that there can be a combination of both the functional and aesthetic when it comes to designing a successful market place.
Have to agree – Dripping Fat site is great but 14tracks.com is another contender for me.
