Really good templates. Thanks for sharing them. I’m going to use the clean cv/resume html template.

I’ve never really thought of building a website for my resume, but it’s actually a really good idea, especially if you can get your site ranking in the Goggle results for your name (no chance with my name lol).

The only thing I’d be wary of is using the same template as everyone else without customisations, as the primary goal of having a resume website is to stand out surely?

That’s a good selection: I think fairly minimal is the best option for an online CV, as is the case with the themes you have picked. I agree with Pete that you should customize the theme to some degree to make it your own, but not so much as to make it flashy. Unless you are a graphic designer, maybe : )

@Pete That’s my worry as well! But these are some good starting points for ideas. It’s tough though, not all of us are graphic or web designers, so making a really great resume requires a guiding hand sometimes.

I’ve considered building a quick resume site before, however I’m always worried about my current employer finding it. Maybe it isn’t such a good idea for people who are already in work and looking for a new job. I suppose there are plenty of explanations you could offer though.

Wow, I wish I’d known about these earlier this year when I was looking for a job. My favourite is the Typographic one.
