As a blogger, I’m always looking for tools to help me work more efficiently and effectively, and some of my favourite tools for blogging are actually extensions for Google Chrome. I’ve rounded up 10 of my favourite Google Chrome extensions to share with you, including tools to help you take screenshots, research articles, optimise your blog for search engines, maintain multiple blogs, and much more!
Awesome Screenshot: Capture & Annotate
If you use a lot of screenshots on your blog, then Awesome Screenshot is the perfect extension for you! With this extension, you can take a screenshot, annotate and edit the image, and save or upload it, all within your browser. This means you’ll never need to use another software application for screenshots–Google Chrome is all you need! Feedly
If your blog requires tons of research, then Feedly, an extension for Google Chrome, can help save you a lot of time. With Feedly, you can search for a site’s URL, a topic, feed URL, or Twitter ID, and your start page will be populated with articles related to your query. AddThis – Bookmark, Email, Share, Translate
With AddThis, a Google Chrome extension, visitors to your blog can easily share, bookmark, and even translate your posts or website using over 200 sites and services, including Twitter, Facebook, and Delicious. AddThis will place a customised “share” button on your website or blog, and your visitors can simply click this button to share your content with their friends. Great list, thanks. I’ve been using Chrome for quite a while but have yet to add an extension ! One of the attractions of Chrome was that it was fast … I think I slowed down firefox by having too many plugins !

This is a great list. I am a big fan of the AddThis Chrome extension on my blog which make it really easy for visitors to share/bookmark our blogs content.
The problem is, with to many extensions it starts to slow down like firefox….
