We have scheduled a maintenance window for, 22:00 on Monday night (05/10/09).
@ 22:25 – Synapse is back – Job done!
@ 22:22 – Synapse being rebooted
@ 22:20 – Hydra is back
@ 22:16 – Rebooting Hydra (up 343 days, 10:14)
@ 22:15 – Rampage is back
@ 22:08 – Rampage has been sent for a reboot (up 329 days, 7:40)
@ 22:07 – Firestar is back
@ 22:02 – Firestar has been sent for a reboot (up 25 days, 23:28)
@ Approx 22:00 – We need to install a new Kernel on the server hosting your account and several other servers. This will require a reboot of all affected servers. Usually a reboot goes fine and the server is running within 5 minutes. When reboots go wrong (could be a particularly low budget TV show on Bravo) it can take several hours for the file system to be fully checked, which means several hours of downtime for you, and several hours at the datacentre for us.
Servers affected by maintenance work: Firestar.3v0.net Hydra.3v0.net, Rampage.3v0.net, and Synapse.3v0.net
