I’d like to formally welcome the latest addition to our team, Ksplice!
He’s a world reknowned rapper from East Compton Village, Berkshire and from now on, he’ll be looking after our servers 24x7x365.
Actually, he’s not a rapper, but with a name like Ksplice he could be; actually, Ksplice isn’t even a person…
Ksplice is a piece of software that allows us to hot patch all the servers to the latest Kernel version without rebooting them; this means we no longer need to have reboot nights. We will be installing Ksplice across all the servers during the day on Thursday 22nd July 2010.
The Ksplice installation requires no downtime, you won’t even notice we’re doing it!

You’re quite odd aren’t you, Tim?
Oh Huw, you have no idea!
Oi!
In fairness, doing this for 6 years changes you… Can’t describe it…
I think it’s called madness =p
It’s the IT syndrome. It messes with your mind.
Hahaha thanks everyone! <3
Digsby looks alot like the Mac multi-IM program Adium, which is no bad thing.
